This article will explain the steps that should be taken before you begin your Year End Process.
We recommend you make an appointment with one of our Wordware tech support team members to walk you through your Year End Process. The process itself is not difficult but there are many options throughout the course of the process. Each option leaves your end data differently. If you do your Year End Process with a Wordware tech support team member, you can be assured your end data is the way you want it. We will also get you all set up for the next school year, at the same time.
Plan to allow about one hour to complete the Year End Process.
Prior to your Year End Process appointment with EduTrak, please be sure all serving lines are closed and processed.
Be sure your computer has the most recent updates and the browser you are using is also updated. You will need to use Firefox or Chrome to complete the Year End Process.
We recommend your anti-virus program be turned off (just on the computer we will be using to complete the Year End Process) and any browser extensions be disabled. Note, you may need the assistance of your IT department to turn off the anti-virus program.
Generate and save a copy of your Free & Reduced Reports. These can be found in the District Site, under the Free & Reduced tab>Reports. We recommend you save one of each of these reports, as they are reset during the Year End Process. That way, if you need any free and reduced information later on, you will have a copy. Note: saving of all of your meal transactions, payment transactions, family data and student data is part of the Year End Process, so you do not need to do anything in advance with the reports found on the LCS>Reports.
IMPORTANT: If you use a databridge, you will want to coordinate the Year End Process with your Student Information System (S.I.S.) manager. We recommend the EduTrak Year End Process be done before the year end rollover on your S.I.S.
