      Orphaned Items

      If you use the Unarchive function, the unarchived product will be moved into Catalog > Orphaned Items. Other rare circumstances may also cause products to move into Orphaned Items as well, and this is a good place to check for a "missing" product.  Follow the steps below if you wish to add your orphaned product back into your catalog.

      Assign a Category to an Orphaned Product:

      Navigate to Catalog > Orphaned Items to locate any Orphaned Products as shown below. Notice the World History and Physics classes that we Unarchived from the Browse > Browse Archived pages.


      Click the Edit button (notepad & pencil icon) to open the product. The World History Class product is open.


      Click Categories from the left side menu as shown below.


      1. Click the category or categories you wish your product to appear in. Here the category selected is "Classes".

      2. Click 'Save' to save your changes.

      3. Archiving automatically sets a product to Private, so you will need to unlock this product to make it available to the public again if it had been archived.
