Sometimes transactions are not able to be recorded the day they are served. EduTrak provides the ability to move all transactions from a serving line to another day. Close, move, process.
** It is very important to note: You will need to do this before you open the lines for the current day! For example, if you start serving breakfast at 7:45 am, you will want to have all of the previous day's breakfast transactions in the line, the line moved and processed before 7:45. Similarly, if you start serving lunch at 10:45 am, you will want to have all of the previous day's lunch transactions in the line, the line moved and processed before 10:45.
After entering only the transactions into the proper serving line. The first step is to Force Close the line.
Please note: Do NOT click "Process" yet.
After the line is closed, we can now move the line to the correct date. On the right side of the screen, click "Undo/ Edit Lines"
Using the date selector, click on the date that you want to move all the transactions from the line too. You should see the date fill into the box. Please double-check the day, month, and year.
Click on "Move Line" to change the date of the line.
Note: Do NOT click on Undo Line. This will DELETE all transactions in the line.
Finally, return to the "Serving Line Processing" page and verify the date is the date you intended to move the transactions to. Then, click "Process" to process the serving line. The Process button will create a report for the day you moved the line to and your line will be reopened and available to use for the current day's transactions.
If you have other previous dates to add, you may do more, as long as you haven't yet opened the line and added transactions for the current date.
Tip: We always recommend checking your reports after making changes.
