This article will explain how families can customize their balance notification (SMS, voice, email) settings.
Families can have the option to customize their balance notification settings. This allows them to receive notice of their low family balance per their preferences. Schools must enable this option. To enable this option for families, go to Wordware District Site>Families tab>Family Website Settings.
The Disallow Custom Balance Override box must NOT be checked for families to have this option available to them.
Family contacts can customize their balance notification settings by logging to the Wordware Family Site. Click on Family Accounts.
Click on Change Notification Settings.
Check the Enable Balance Override button and enter the low balance level amount. Be sure to save your notification settings.
NOTE: Families can only change their low balance level to something higher than the school has set, to get their notices more often.
