How to resolve the databridge Error Log?

This will explain the Error Log and how to resolve difference in the SIS and EduTrak records so information will import.

Best practice would be to check the Error Log a couple times a week at minimum. The more often you check it, the easier it will be to keep it cleaned up. Here is a link to our Knowledge Base article about Databridge Logs. https://knowledgebase.edutrak.com/how-to-read-the-databridge-logs This explains the different logs created when the databridge runs.

Below is a example of some of the students on an Error Log (these are examples only and not from your school's Error Log). The system is looking for an exact match on First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth. If those three fields don't match exactly, the student information or updates will not be imported. (Even an extra "space" within the record will cause a mismatch.)

The data between your Student Information System and the LCS for Student ID 144570 does not match.

This student cannot be imported. Please compare the student data manually in both of your systems, fix the issue, and try again.

The data between your Student Information System and the LCS for Student ID 146050 does not match.
Imported data: << This is the information coming from your SIS
Jasmine Sample, DOB 2012-11-28
LCS data: << This is the information currently in EduTrak
Jasmine Sample, DOB 2012-11-11
This student cannot be imported. Please compare the student data manually in both of your systems, fix the issue, and try again.

Determine what information is correct, and the information that is incorrect needs to be corrected in the system where it's wrong (either your SIS or EduTrak). Once the information matches exactly, the student and any updates for the student will be imported.
