How to find a missing student?

Troubleshooting suggestions when a student can't be found in the EduTrak system

When there are missing students, there are a few places to check:
Student Assignment Tool: Students>Student Assignment Tool>Show Unassigned Students Only. If the student has not yet been assigned to a family, they will not show up in EduTrak when searching for student or in the serving line.
Knowledge Base article: https://knowledgebase.edutrak.com/student-assignment-tool-training) in the admin site.
Error Log in the LCS (Students>PowerSchool API log - or Databridge log if you have a SIS other than PowerSchool). Knowledge Base article: https://knowledgebase.edutrak.com/how-to-read-the-databridge-logs  https://knowledgebase.edutrak.com/how-to-resolve-the-databridge-error-log
Another common occurence is if the students have been previously deleted/withdrawn and have returned to the school/district. You can check in the admin site Students>Student List, use the Advanced filter and include deleted students. If they are deleted, there will be a blue "Yes" to the far right of the student's name. If they need to be undeleted, click the Yes, to change it to a No, and that will undelete them.
Please check the above scenarios and if you are still unable to locate the missing student, submit a Support Ticket and we will be happy to assist.
