The ESC1000 prevents cashiers from entering breakfast meals during lunch service or lunch meals during breakfast by allowing you to set specific open time frames in the serving line settings.
How to Configure 'Line Operating Hours':
1. Login to the ESC1000
2. Navigate to Lines> Line Settings
3. Select the serving line you want to add operating time for
4. Select Line Settings
5. Click the 'Edit' button at the top right, navigate to the 'Normal Operating Hours' setting and enter the Start and Stop time
How it works:
- When the serving line has not yet been open- the Line Operating hours will show next to the serving line name under the Line Dashboard
- When a user attempts to open the serving line outside of the Line Operating time frame, a WARNING message will prompted asking the user if they are sure they want to open the serving line. If the user wants to open the line, they can click okay and the line will open
- If the user opens a serving line outside of its designated operating hours, the Line Dashboard will indicate that the line is open outside of those hours. If the user attempts to re-enter the line, a WARNING message will appear again.
